Nature Short Breaks

Our Countryside resort has a wealth of wildlife in our grounds and around our farm. Sightings of deer, badgers, hares, owls and foxes are very common.

Wildflower meadows have been planted around the resort as part of the RSPB Farm and Volunteer Alliance project. These have attracted corn buntings and other species to our surroundings. Barn owls in particular are a common site at dusk.

We are perfectly placed to take a trip to the Isle of May to see puffins. The best time of year is between May and June.

Our surrounding area is a haven for bird watching and we are very close to the Eden estuary.

Dolphin pods are a common sight off Crail, just down the road.
